Advertising of products is often heavily restricted by the MLM company. The company often requires you to use approved company materials. This is very ineffective, because these advertising tools mostly promote the company achievements and product features. However, these topics are of no interest to your target audience. You audience wants to see benefits, solutions to their problems.
Plus, you only have a limited budget, and need to buy these tools at a relatively high cost. For this reason and the lack of appeal to your prospects, they are very ineffective for you. However, they still work for your company, because they are purchased and circulated by a large number of distributors at their own expense.
There is a third commodity that you can advertise without restrictions, and that is yourself.

It is time consuming, because you reach only one person at a time. This method will only work if you have access to a large number of highly qualified prospects.
Telephone advertising
You can buy targeted lists of people who have bought similar products before. Your goal in calling them is to quickly assess if they are interested. If yes, you put them into your follow-up channel. If no, drop them and go to the next. This is an effective strategy, because your pool of prospects is targeted towards your benefits, and you are spending only a very short amount of time with each.
Internet advertising
You can do this for free (there is a time cost involved, though) or by paid advertising on search engines. If you use pay per click advertising, you pay only for actual visits to your site. It is therefore highly effective, if your web page converts well.
